This compact form of the Japanese Barberry is a hardy deciduous shrub featuring bright golden glowing foliage. Ideal as a feature plant, or low border hedge. The bright golden foliage will add contrast to any garden. Full sun to part shade.
The nursery is set in the small mountain village of Blackwood, Victoria, which is a one hours drive west of Melbourne. The climate in Blackwood is warm in summer, and cool in winter, mild temperate, which allows us to grow a wide range of trees, shrubs, conifers, Rhododendrons and flowering perennials and is surrounded by gardens and can be enjoyed by nursery visitors.
