The barberry species are all tough and easy to grow. This is the most unusual variety of barberry, that forms a slender dwarf shrub. Leaves are bright gold, tipped in red in the Spring, then slowly turn green splashed with white and pink. ‘Pow Wow’ prefers some shade in the hottest part of the day.
Useful for shrubberies, Japanese style gardens and can be successfully clipped as a low formal hedge.
