We are a small boutique restaurant nestled in the Kitchen Garden at Blackwood Ridge. 

We grow a wide range of produce here on the farm and our menu reflects the seasonal availability from paddock to plate. 

This autumn we are offering a 4 course set menu for Lunch Friday, Saturday & Sunday lunch service is 12.30pm.

Morning and afternoon teas will be available either side of lunch service and will be predominately outdoors, depending on the weather and indoor seating availability.

Spring 2021 Menu

Four Courses $89 p/p.

1st

Jerusalem artichoke, black perigold truffle, hazelnut and anise myrtle pepper risotto

Jerusalem artichoke wafers, granite hills Chardonnay, black perigold truffle butter with anise myrtle served with our own fresh made brioche roll (GF) (V)

2nd

Korean chicken, kimchi, blossoms

Marinated chicken with spiced Korean kimchi, spiced raspberry syrup and blossoms (GF)

Or

Buckwheat blinis, asparagus, seville marmalade, miso, pistachio & rhubarb

Buckwheat yeast pancakes with creme fraiche and miso, crushed pistachio, Seville marmalade, sous vide asparagus slivers with rhubarb pearls. (V)

3rd

Western district duck with goat cherve, golden orange polenta, wattleseed,

lemon myrtle

Baked duck breast with orange infused golden polenta discs, wattleseed, goat cherve crumb 

and lemon myrtle dust. (GF)

Or 

Salt bush and tasmanian peppered Kyneton lamb with turnips,

Swiss chard and celeriac

Spiced lamb rack on celeriac and Swiss chard fritter with brandied jus, 

and sous vide turnips.

Or

Peas, smoked buffalo mozzarella, beetroot, strawberry gum 

Golden fried pea and choux beignets with smoked buffalo mozzarella, sous vide beetroot, 

strawberry gum mayonnaise. (GF) (V)

4th

  Parsnip Creme caramel, blood orange, Honey comb, lemon balm

Parsnip creme caramel with blood orange caviar, honey comb tuile and lemon balm mircogreens

Or

Chestnut, dark chocolate, smoked vanilla, salted almond, blackberry , gin.

Roast chestnut and dark chocolate pudding with smoked vanilla ice-cream, salted almond candy on blackberry and gin syrup.

Growing this spring at Blackwood Ridge...

Rhubarb, hen eggs, celeraic , beetroot, Swiss chard, pea shoots, berberis blossom,  violets, chai greens, 

thyme, tarragon, parsley, chives, chervil , marigold and fennel.

No cancellation fees apply during during COVID-19 lockdowns. 

Bookings are required for Lunch which is a  4 course set menu at $89 per person. Bookings can be made clicking the button below. Lunch service is one sitting on Friday, Saturday & Sunday starting at 12.30pm. Menu can be found here





Bookings are not required for morning and afternoon tea .
