Our menu is a true reflection of the seasonal bounty, bringing the vibrant flavors of the paddock to your plate. What sets us apart is our unwavering focus on utilising the unique ingredients harvested from our very own gardens at Blackwood Ridge.

Pan fried duck breast with orange polenta, poached quince, pickled beetroot with quince and white wine jus. (GF)

Wagyu brisket, Popped Barley & Butter beans.

Slow cooked ‘Wagyu’ beef brisket with potato dauphine, seeded mustard remoulade, butter beans, popped barley on rosemary & sage creme.

Pan fried hand made potato gnocchi with roasted pumpkin, toasted pine nuts on a tarragon cream whey.

Frangelico soaked chocolate brioche, honey panna-cotta, dark chocolate and hazelnut ganache, caramel fig with tonka bean syrup.

Cured apple confiture, pear, orange and white chocolate semi-freddo, Calvados jelly, cuvée pear and lemon verbena mousse and crisp tuile ring. (GFO)

Menu notes

Calamansi is a small tangy citrus, tahini is a paste made from ground sesame, miso is fermented soy paste, tarragon is a herb with an aniseed flavour, whey is a slight tart liquid made from separating yoghurt, remoulade is a mayonnaise made with celeriac , Frangelico is a hazelnut flavoured alcohol, confiture is a set jelly/jam, lemon verbena is a lemon flavoured herb, tonka bean is an aromatic bean used in desserts, calvados is apple liqueur and tuile is a thin shortbread like biscuit.

Trading Update :

Blackwood Ridge Restuarant Permanently closing June 30th 2024.

After achieving all our goals James and Dan have decided to permanently close the restaurant and gardens on
Sunday 30th of June 2024.

James and Dan will be turning their focus on their
landscape design sector of the business know as
'Blackwood Ridge Landscape Design'

After a decade long journey we would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the memories created and sincerely thank all of our wonderful customers who have supported us.
