We are a small boutique restaurant nestled in the Kitchen Garden at Blackwood Ridge. 

We grow a wide range of produce here on the farm and our menu reflects the seasonal availability from paddock to plate. 

This spring we are offering a 4 course set menu for Lunch Friday, Saturday & Sunday lunch service is 12.30pm and is approximately 2 hours.

Morning tea is available before lunch service and will be predominately outdoors, depending on the weather and indoor seating availability.

Summer 2022 Menu

Four Courses

1st

Risotto

Confit of cherry tomato, Granite Hills Chardonnay, lemon thyme & parmesan

served with our own fresh made brioche roll (GF) (V)

2nd

Korean chicken

Golden fried chicken with Korean kimchi, spiced raspberry syrup and blossoms (GF)

Or

Halloumi, Zucchini & Pine

Zucchini crisps with pan fried halloumi, roasted hazelnuts, orange jelly and pine syrup.. (V)

3rd

Blue eye 

Pan fried Blue Eye fillet with wattleseed, dauphinois fries, 

cured apple and gin infused watermelon on a Pernod jus. (GF)

Or 

Kyneton lamb

Lamb rack infused with salsa verde, with smoked butternut squash fondant 

and sweet potato, orange and tarragon croquettes on a blood plum jus.

Or

Lentil keftes & anise myrtle panelle

Buckwheat and lentil cake with strawberry gum and currants, anise myrtle panelle (chickpea), with beetroot relish and desert lime labneh. (GF) (V)

4th

  Rhubarb & Lemon myrtle meringue

Lemon myrtle tart with rhubarb parfait, meringue and basil icecream.

Or

Dark chocolate areo & blackberry

Aerated dark chocolate with blackberry sorbet, Tasmanian pepper nougatine and elderflower icecream.  (GF)

 

While care is taken to remove fish bones some may remain

Rhubarb, hen eggs, elderflower , beetroot, chicory greens, pea shoots, baby carrots,  violets, fennel, Tom Thumb tomato, Zuchinni, thyme, tarragon, parsley, chives, mizuna and marigold ..

No cancellation fees apply for COVID-19 cancellations. 

Bookings are required for Lunch which is a  4 course set menu at $89 per person. Bookings can be made clicking the button below. Lunch service is one sitting on Friday, Saturday & Sunday at 12.30pm service is approximately 2hrs. Menu can be found here





Bookings are not required for morning tea .
