To eat


We are a small boutique restaurant nestled in the Kitchen Garden at Blackwood Ridge. 

We grow a wide range of produce here on the farm and our menu reflects the seasonal availability from paddock to plate. 

This summer we are offering a 4 course set menu for Lunch Friday, Saturday & Sunday bookings available at 12pm or 1pm.

Morning and afternoon teas will be available either side of lunch service and will be predominately outdoors, depending on the weather and indoor seating availability.

Summer Menu


Pumpkin, almond, clementine and tarragon risotto

Our own seasonal pumpkin, french tarragon, clementine zest with gruyere and toasted flaked almonds

served with our own fresh made brioche roll (GF)


Korean chicken, kimchi, blossoms

Marinated chicken with spiced korean kimchi, spiced raspberry syrup and blossoms (GF)


Hen egg tart, tomato and basil, nasturium pesto

Blackwood ridge hen egg tart with mascarpone, slow roasted tomato and fresh basil

with nasturtium pesto and lemon verbena creme fraiche.


Western district duck, orange, cherries, rose, macadamia

Orange infused Pan fried duck breast on drunken cherry glaze with kale and potato rosti quenelles,

 rose petals and macadamia maple granola (GF)


Kyneton lamb, moroccan spice, buckwheat, thyme, blackberry, chives

Moroccan spiced crusted lamb rack on buckwheat and thyme cake with pomegranate molasses jus, 

blackberry dust and chive flowers.


Celeriac fritter, sweet potato, broad beans

Golden celeriac fritters with shredded sweet potato and yuzu slaw, honied bergamot syrup, 

broad bean shavings, calendula blossom and parsnip crisp. (GF)


 Rhubarb and strawberry parfait

Iced rhubarb and strawberry parfait with fresh strawberries and pistachio crunch (optional GF)


Chocolate, blueberry, violet and pear

Milk chocolate mousse quenelles and blueberry gelato with violet meringue kisses and pear crumble.
